Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara
To starts of your safari, you will be picked from the hotel in Nairobi or the airport upon arrival at exactly 07:30 AM and drive to Masai Mara national reserve, it is a drive of about 5 to 6 hours and along the way you will have a scenic stopover at the Great Rift Valley. When you arrive in the Masai Mara national reserve in the afternoon, time for lunch, you will check into your lodge and enjoy your meals. You will then depart for an afternoon game drive on which you will explore the reserve and be able to see abundance of wildlife inhabiting in the endless plains such as wildebeests, lions, leopards, African wild dog, elephants, and cape buffaloes among others. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Masai Mara
Today you have two options, you can either have a relaxed breakfast and depart at around 90:00 AM for a full day game drives with packed lunch and return back t your lodge in the late afternoon around 06:00 PM. Or you can depart as early as 06:00 Am and head to the reserve for an early morning game drive, this time is the best time to see the animals and have a great chance to witness the hunt. Later return to your lodge for breakfast and relax for a bit and return to the reserve for an afternoon game drive, you will have picnic lunch and then go for another game drive. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru
Wake up early in the morning and head to the reserve for a short morning game drive to enjoy more sights of the animals, return to your lodge for breakfast, then check out and depart to Lake Nakuru national park situated in a drive of about 6.5 hours drive and you will have lunch along the way. Upon reaching the park, you will check into your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 – Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha
Have early breakfast and proceed to Lake Nakuru national park for a morning game drive which will last till noon, you will have lunch at your lodge then check out and proceed to Lake Naivasha arriving in late afternoon. Check into your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Enjoy breakfast and transfer to Diani Beach
Enjoy breakfast as early as possible, checkout by 06:00 AM and depart for Diani Beach for a beach relaxation, along the way you will enjoy the beautiful views and have lunch. Arrive at the beach resort in late afternoon, check in, have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 6 – Day 7: Diani Beach; Overnight stay at your beach resort
During your stay in Diani you can explore the area and its beautiful waters, some of the activities you can do include visit to the Fort Jesus, Haller Park, Spice Market and Mombasa tusk. You can also do Wasini Island Dhow Cruise, snorkeling and Scuba diving among others among others.
Day 8: Diani-Mombasa International Airport
Have breakfast, checkout of your lodge and transfer to Ukunda Airstrip for your flight to Nairobi or to Mombasa International Airport for your connecting flight back home.
