6 Days: Uganda Gorilla and Wildlife Safari

Day 1: Arrival Uganda Entebbe

Arrive at Entebbe International airport and transfer to Kampala. Check in you lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After breakfast we depart via Mpambire Drum Market and then the Equator line. Stop over at Agip Motel or Igongo Cultural Museum Mbarara for lunch before continuing through the rolling hills of western Uganda arriving Bwindi late afternoon. Check-in at your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight

Day 3: Gorilla Tracking

After early morning breakfast be on time for briefing by ranger/guide at 8:00am before you embark on your trek. The gorillas are tracked, located and after approximately one hour with them, have lunch in the forest before you return to base. Depart for Queen Elizabeth National via the Southern sector through Ishasha in Search for tree Climbing Lions. Check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 4: Game drive, Launch trip and Kibale Forest National Park

Enjoy the early morning breakfast before starting your game drive by 6:30am,Catch the African sunrise on The Peninsular, and an animal parade of Lions back from overnight hunting, Elephants, Buffalos, Hyenas, the Rare Giant Forest hog, Warthogs, the Kob mating grounds, teeming birdlife and the crater lakes. After lunch head for an afternoon launch trip. Up close to a variety of hippo, fish eagle, goliath heron, African Jacana, Egyptian geese, and the rare shoebill and mountain ranges in the horizon before making a U turn back to base at Mweya Peninsular. Check out late evening & head northward via Katunguru gate with a chance to catch more game along the way. Depart for Kibale Forest through Kasese town, verdant country side, traditional homesteads and farms dinner and overnight at your camp/lodge.

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking

Enjoy early morning breakfast .Be on time for briefing by ranger/guide at 8:00am before you embark on your trek in search of the chimpanzee and ten other primates including, Lhoestes, red-colobus, blues, red-tailed and grey checked mangabey.This walk is excellent for viewing bird life and seeing primates at close quarters. After lunch, return to Kampala for dinner & overnight at your camp/lodge.

Day 6: Departure

Depending on flight time you may want to visit Crafts Village for souvenirs.
